Science Intent Capture Architecture, NASA Mars 2020 Mission

The Science Intent Architecture solution is a novel approach to capturing science observation rational in the end-to-end workflow of the Mars 2020 science team. This is the first time such a solution has been defined and implemented on a NASA mission, and it is being used actively on a daily basis as part of the exploration of the surface of Mars. The architecture includes a central Science Intent management tool, SI Tracker, and integration into all the tools the science team uses for their collaborative planning and downlink data analysis.
